You will leverage your knowledge and intuition as well as Volmart's state-of-art trading infrastructure, to improve existing strategies and locate new opportunities. Over time, you are expected to build up an in-depth understanding of the crypto ecosystem and markets. Once you convince yourself and the team of some opportunities you see or some necessary improvements, you will take lead in the implementation and execution of your idea.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about applying mathematical methods to solve real-world problems, is a quick learner, and has always a can-do attitude. In addition, our ideal candidate would always have great curiosity about new developments and could really think out of the box when facing challenges.
While not required to contribute codes into our infrastructure directly, our Quantitative Trader should have proficiency in at least one programming language to build handy tools on daily basis to perform research, automate execution processes, and monitor trading activities. While some tools can be built by our Developers on Trader's demand, it is crucial that our Quantitative Traders are able to set up a quick solution by themselves.
